The broken steel circle, the vise and the golden wedding ring together form an image that symbolizes the role of marriage in the life of Frida Kahlo, and the power that made her an inspiration despite the many hardships in her life. Frida Kahlo’s marriage was among the greatest of these hardships. Despite this she managed to obtain freedom through her works and her unique personality.
